Sailboat making it's way thru the stormy seas, colorful acrylic painting 11x14, on Art canvas. Chunky thick layers of acrylic were used to blend colors of blues, greens and yellows to create the contrast and brightness as the sky and ocean turn stormy. Cape Artists love the Cape because of the colors the sky and water present- there is something different about the vibrance of the colors of the earth. I tried to capture that in this smaller version of sailing storm.
